Brandy Coats, MBA, CAMS-I, CTP & Pre-Licensed Professional Counselor

Beginning therapy is a courageous step toward growth and healing. Brandy Coats supports clients with compassion, authenticity, and curiosity as they navigate emotional overwhelm, life transitions, identity exploration, and recovery from past experiences. Her work is eclectic and integrative, drawing from multiple therapeutic approaches to meet clients where they are and support meaningful, lasting change. Brandy’s approach is holistic, collaborative, and identity-affirming. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Humanistic and Feminist approaches, Family Systems work, and trauma-informed care, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs, values, and lived experiences.


Brandy holds an MBA, is a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-I) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CTP). She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, is certified in Addictive Behavior. She is certified in parent education, sex therapy-informed care, narcissistic abuse recovery, and grief-informed practice. She brings over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through emotional, relational, and spiritual healing. She works with adults, teens, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, including individuals navigating foster care and adoption, military service, multicultural identity, and LGBTQIA+ experiences. Brandy is kink-aware, body-positive, and committed to creating a nonjudgmental, affirming space for growth and self-understanding.
